Yes this razor is scary aggressive. If you can't shave with a stright razor and not hack your face off this might not be the razor you are looking for. It's exactly what I was looking for though. It has a very shallow cap and is great for lining up your beard if you don't want to do all the prep and time for your stright razor. I have and do shave with it when I remove the beard, and it's wonderful if you are not trusting the razor to shave for you. The angle matters, the last thing you want to do is press in with this guy. But if you are looking for the most aggressive safty razor you can find this might be perfect and works magic cutting in a beard line.

My new No. 1 razor.

Before today I thought my R41 was the best there is. Now my new Ikon Tec has taken me to a new level. I might just sell my other razors and keep these two. The Tec gives an incredible shave without burn. You just have to know how to shave and take your time and enjoy the experience. Highly recommended.

Freaking Awesome!

Love this razor! Used an R41 as a daily shaver for years and just got tired of it. Wanted something a bit more aggressive/efficient. This razor lives up to its reputation. It is AWESOME. Would have preferred a bulldog handle but they were sold out. If you have good technique you have nothing to worry about. I would highly recommend it.
